I hope you weren't flying under the influence!   Keep plenty of spare blades on hand til you get the hang of it. A few years ago I picked up a decent one at the hobby shop and busted tons of blades smacking the walls. Once I had it mastered it was funny chasing the pooches around the house, lol. Including extra blades, batteries and chargers I wasted about 500 bucks to be an over-grown kid again ... now it collects dust. I wished I had saved that $ for goodies for the bike instead!
BTW, blades are pretty cheap ... 2 bucks for a couple pair. What added up were the xtra batteries & chargers for more flight time. I also bought 2 nice aluminum goodies to replace the cheaper plastic parts for the rotor.

My wife had the foresight to order a wall charger and an extra parts "kit".  This is just one of those cheap little things about a foot long.  I used to fly gas powered remote control airplanes and always wanted a helicopter, but the gas versions are VERY pricey, so that never happened.  My Terriers would tear it to pieces if they could get a hold of it...

I agree with giving is More fun....seeing the surprised look is priceless....my wife bugs me to open my gifts..I tell her I'm too busy taking pics of everyone else opening theirs...plus the only gifts I like are the ones I get myself.... ...I love to spoil meeself....

Good deal! At least you can go ride when it comes ... mine is hibernating til spring. Winter sucks, just finished shoveling snow for the past three hours.

I'm from NH I miss the snow....a little....hehe...the weather is nice here...65-70 now...
