NHL Hockey is back, maybe this will help winter pass by quicker

Just think, you will be able to listen to a NHL game on satellite radio late spring without having a team in the playoffs!  Being from Chicago, I hope that this is the Cannucks year to win the Cup!  Nothing would be more pleasing than for them to win it in what most would consider an empty victory, and for frosting on the cake, they would be able to get in one big circle and pass the cup around to each other like a hot potato becasue they will need to probably return it before the 2013-14 season begins which will be maybe 8 weeks after the 2013 season ends?  Now, I don't have anything against the people from Vancouver or anyone on this site, I just have a passionate hatred for the Sedin sisters and gang.  I wish we could renew that rivialry with Detroit but thats not going to happen.  Maybe Minnesota or St Louis will get the divison rivalry going again?  Either way, glad to have it back, love hate feeling about the season.

At least you guys are lucky you don't get force fee the Toronto Crappy Leafs and Les Habs almost every 2nd night by TSN broadcast from Eastern Canada, we would rather see more Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver games.

Maybe Toronto may finally have a winning season thew just got rid of Burke.

It's really too bad that the season will be starting up soon :( ... This is the longest "undefeated streak" the Toronto Mapleleafs have ever enjoyed :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :drink:

OlDog and Geezer ..... Flames fan here too.  Was born in 'Cowtown' ........ been on the coast too many years, but, the one thing that brings a smile to my mug is when the 'chronic underachievers' (Canucks) are on another losing streak.  A ten game slide isn't as good as an eleven game slide.

Really am confused when the Canucks are playing the Leaf's....it's just too bad that game can't have two losers ..... oh!, wait a minute!, it does have two losers!!

Maybe the Leaf's and the Canucks can share the 'ruler of the universe' ..... Brian Burke.
