SEEG2 o2 conversion
« on: January 14, 2013, 09:26:30 PM »

Hi all, I have a 2005 SEEG2 with A/C, V & H true dual pipes, SE-204 cams and SERT. I would like to add the o2 sensors for closed loop operation. However, I ran the TTS upgrade qualifier to upgrade my SERT and it failed. I would like to know if I added th o2 sensors and loaded a level 176 SERT map would i be able to use Mytune or Twin Scan software to generate the new VE values. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I would try the WEGO and Twinscan from daytona Twin Tec, with the widebands I am able to tune my 02 and 04's.    You will use the widebands to do it.   Works great btw.

Thanks for the reply Unbalanced. Would I be able to use the TS II with the level 176 SERT map and then install the NB sensors afterward for closed loop operation?

I added the NB O2 sensors to my 05 and used a map for a 07+ model (I don't remember what the calibration level was), and used the TTS to tune, Works very well  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks HD-Dude. I already have a SERT but it is not upgradeable to TTS. So for the sake of not having to purchase a whole new tuner I was wondering if I could use the method in the original post. Thanks.

Did you change out the ECM to a newer version?  Or does the '05 ECM have the ability to "read" the O2 sensors?

I beleive the 05 ECM is compatible for NB o2 operation contingent upon the map used. Thanks.

question is does he have an 04 or an 05 ecm.   My 05 ECM worked with the NB's.

The 05 and up ECM has the harware to support the sensors, 04 did not
