Thanks you guys...your compliments are very flattering and while the project was well worth it to me in the end, it's nice to get some reassurance now and then. There were definitely times that I thought I had lost my mind...but by then I was in too deep to turn back. At one point during the process, various parts of the bike were in PA, NC, TX and FL...of course I live in VA. Then there's the cost. I've got a folder with all the receipts...scary! My only consolation is that I've got a lot of sweat equity in the bike so I saved a lot of labor $$$. I put most of the pieces back together, but the engine build, powdercoating, painting and upholstery work were sent out...and a lot of things didn't go right the first, second or even third time. Despite the frequent heartache and headaches, I have to admit watching it all come together and firing it up for the first time was a great experience. Again, thanks for your kind words - PJ
