Satellite imagery has this hands down. Last year i was in Europe at a GIS Conference and had the opportunity to see the capabilities of today's commercial satellites. One of the instructors was showing a group of us the zooming, panning and clarity effects as he was focusing into a couple sitting in a Jacuzzi somewhere on-top of a high rise building. As the operator stopped zooming everyone was astonished of the clarity seeing a man and a woman sitting in Jacuzzi facing each other taken from a camera 23 some odd thousand miles in space.. Someone in the group blurted out, gee- wonder if they are nude? As if the instructor was waiting for the question, he looked up smiled and paneed and zoomed the camera further in.. Indeed the couple was nude and the attractive female looked like she wore a 'C' Cup... I was like,, you kidding me, these cameras are actually this good, he looked at me and said,, "Commercial Satellite imagery is very restricted by the governments",, you "ought to see the capabilities of the Government Satellites, can you imagine zooming into a license plate and getting the number", I said really, he replied "yes sir'.... O.K.. Now that is scary.
