120R owners

Seeing as this is a CVO forum I'm curious what folks who've done the 120r have done to match the granite? Powder coat tranny and primary?  From what I can see black is the color on these motors. Love to hear from you.

That would be the most cost-effective way, if wanting a 120R.

I just want the extra power and the color doesn't really bother me. Like Henry Ford is rumored to have said about the Model T -you can have any color you want, as long as it's black!

A couple of friends are putting in S&S 124T's that are black also. One of them had the shop paint his transmission and inner primary with some black (wrinkle?) paint while the motor was out.

Don't know how well that approach will stand up if it gets scratched or chipped, but it can always be touched up I guess.

My new 120R does match the stock CVO starter though...  :P

You could just buy the Harley black wrinkle paint at $20 a can at the dealers. If you could be stuffed you can paint over the black wrinkle paint of the 120r with colour matched grey as long as it is the same base. Will look wrinkled too.
