Craig,
Sounds like you have done your homework. Good luck on these mods and don't forget to post the dyno results.

HAWG-WIRED (www.hawg-wired.com):

Finished the 4-channel HAWG-WIRED audio upgrade install last night on the JESTER, along with completing the detachable tour pak setup on her!  I think that makes her the first STRIPPING Jester.  :)     WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW on the new sound system!

I am now a Hawg-Wired dealer in Nebraska and Iowa, and I tell you this ONLY for install purposes.  BUY YOUR HAWG-WIRED PRODUCT FROM HD-DUDE (Jim) at his gracious discount on here, as he turned me on to this fabulous product, and he deserves ALL of the product sales.  Jim is in CA, and I ONLY tell you about my business (www.stereowestautotoys.com) because we can handle all your CAGER Mobile Electronics needs, as well as handling these kinda tricky (unless you are REALLY HANDY) Hawg-Wired installs in the middle of the U.S. for all you great fellow site members!!

Make it a GREAT weekend IN THE WIND!!

Not real sure about the new O2 sensors on the Ultras but I read in American Iron with the closed loop system you do not need a Race tuner, PC III, or any thing to modify the map because the bike would make the changes based upon readings from its sensors. I have a friend who has a 06 dyna with the O2 sensors and was told by the dealer he didn't need a race tuner after putting on a high flow air cleaner and slip on's.
The mods you mention may not require a Race Tuner/Power Commander, as they are minor (Stage 1), and the 02 sensors (with stock ECM calibration) may/would be able to compensate for those. If you were going to do major mods (cams/heads/pistons) then you would want to get the Race Tuner/Power Commander because from what I've heard the 02 sensors w/stock ECM calibrations will not be able to make that much of an adjustment.

2up,

I believe that article in American Iron was at least partially incorrect.

Hello my fellow Pool and Jester owners. I am interested in any ideas you all may have with getting more lights in the back to be better noticed. I know we can get the lights on the bags but what if anything has anyone forund for the Tour Pak itself?

Hate driving at night and relying on that little red light. Thanks

Kaz...check out the threads d00d gave you above.  There are photos/instructions on how this is done, so read through to the end to see the different ways some chose to do this install.  I have the running/brake light and feel 100% safer both at night and in the daytime.  That LED strip is BRIGHT and really gets some attention.  All the parts needed for the install are listed in the thread...it's easy. kaz...that thread referenced by d00d has pics of all the installs. You do not have to drill any holes in the TP to do this.  Mine is run underneath the left antenna mount rubber gasket, into the tourpak, under the liner, and wired into the existing pig tail.  Parts needed are also in the thread.  Two options...one on the rack supporting the TP, the other on the TP itself.  It's all there, bro!
