Well of course it its. I mean really dude, the whole Sturgis event is staged
90% of the people attending only dress and act like that for one week a year.
Sturgis hasn't been for real with real people since the 80's

B B

++that.

Haven't been to Sturgis yet but look forward to going some time either week before or week after -just for the riding! If I want to hang and drink with posers, all I have to do is attend our local H.O.G. chapter events. It's a masquerade party on wheels...lol.

I'm going to try and hit Sturgis this year just to say I went once. I work in Douglas, WY and have an apartment in Casper so I'm really not that far. Should be a quick trip up to Sundance to watch the burnouts too.

The latest installment of this show has me scratching my head. Living in Dago 7 months out of 12, riding and having been in a 1% Club here I cannot for the life of me figure out WTF these guys are thinking when they show them talking to somebody like the Brotherhood in regards to not getting shut down. Last time I checked, the Hell's Angels and the Mongols were battling it out for supremacy in SoCal. And neither of them give a rat's ass about these small clubs so long as they don't run a three piece patch with a bottom rocker that says CALIFORNIA or DAGO. All they do in going to the Brotherhood is offend another smaller club that feels they are the next rung on the ladder below the big boys. San Diego used to have an M/C council that handled this kind of chit. I've been out of the game for a few years so I guess the council must have fallen by the way side when Local 81 and the Mongols started going at it. Anyway, what it all amounts to is that even without flying a patch, if you have a certain kind of bike or a certain look to you the cops will stop you for no reason and hassle you. Biker profiling. They do it because they know that some of the clubs take off their cuts when they're up to no good. So this whole thing is just one big ass pain for anyone riding in certain areas in Dago. Hopefully as stated previously, they are gone and somebody's driven a stake through their patch.

Some comments on this week's episode. Danny Boy did the right thing taking the reins of the club and then blew it by allowing Sandman o continue to not follow rules and protocal. The Sin Mob may have pissed off Prospect Rob with giving Sockem a patch but it's pretty much universal that any new club starting up has to have a least six full patch members. Now if a club wants to earn some real respect it can prospect itself (to long to explain) until there's six or it can simply patch up six guys and them everyone else has to prospect. Most clubs just patch up six guys and go from there. The problem with that is this - - - the ones who prospect never really resect the ones who didn't. In a lot of cases, the ones who started the club have tons of experience from years with other organizations and so the respect has been earned elsewhere. But when it's just six guys who never lived the life before doing it , it's a recipe for disaster WHICH, I am starting to think is what happened with the LD's

As always, just my $0.02
