Throttle got sticky and stiff

The other day I got on my bike to notice that my throttle grip was kinda stiff and not very snap backish. should I take it apart and lubricate it. Is it that easy a fix?? 2008 SERK

Same thing happened to my 09 serg at obout 40k mi. I tryed taking it apart to clean and lube the sensor, no dice dont waste your time just replace it

No adjustment or lube. Replace the twist grip sensor. Known problem. Had it on my cuse7 after only 3 mos old.
