I did find a great Canadian Dealership. Mountainview HD in Chilliwack BC. I am a lifetime member there they tell me, and get discounts on parts and labour for life! My first service they came and picked up my bike in a trailer.........it's an hour and a half drive!!! I bought multiple bikes from Deeley and it was a one shot 10% off parts but only at the time of purchase.

Yes Mountainview is by far the best we have here in BC. Dave (Owner) and his crew are awesome. None of the BS you get at all the other dealers. Dave is a personal friend and I can assure you he will look after you. Not just because we are friends. He services everyone this way. We bought our last 4 bikes from him (3 CVO's) We rode to Sturgis with him and are planning our summer trip this year.

Give him a call.

Maybe this will set the record straight.....Deeley Harley Davidson Corp is Canada's ONLY HD dealer and the MOCO's largest single dealer in the world. This lone Canadian Dealer sells in excess of 20,000 bikes a year (so I was told by a reliable retailer). It was actually Fred Deeley (Trev Deeley's father) that made the deal with HD MOCO back in the early 1900's.

Insofar as Canadian Tire - they are NOT directed by Deeley but in fact by Transport Canada to regulate all the Vehicles that come in to Canada under RIV. Deeley's does however control whether or not the bikes coming into Canada conform to what's needed for warranty. You can have thework done anywhere but then you need a clearance tag from your authorized retailer to qualify for warranty.

That is some loyalty (early 1900's)  In America (sad but true) family and lawyers (greed) would have that company all split up   :-\

I dealt with Brayden in sales......first class guy, always keeping me updated waiting for the announcment of the CVO's and when I went to pick up the bike, I got to meet Dave and the rest of the crew. Look forward to dealing with them and maybe we will see you on a ride one day!

Yes Brayden is a great guy. Knows his stuff and just wants to please his customers. Jack the service manager certainly looks after you as well. As mentioned earlier, he'll arrange to pick your bike up in the trailer just for a service. Nice perk especially when we have these friggin winters.

screamincvo,  Maybe we'll cross paths his summer at the dealer or wherever. I'll look for one of your many bikes  :)

I need to correct the lineage of the Deeley family. Trev Deeley actually took over from his father Fred Jr. However, it was Fred Deeley Sr. that made the deal with the MOCO back in 1917. Ironically now, Trev's daughter has minimal involvement with Deeley Motors and it is run by a Board of Directors with a Malcolm Hunter as their CEO.

I seems to me that it doesn't matter weather it's Fred, Trevor, Trevor's Daughter or Malcom running the show at Deeley"s ,  The Canadian Harley Owner is always over paying for anything Harley Davidson :soapbox:  It didn't really bother me all that much because I would always buy my parts at the Buffalo or Niagara Falls NY Dealers (Which are great dealerships by the way) or order from one of the 20% Dealers in the US.   :2vrolijk_21:  I guess "Mother Deeley" was feeling left out with this happening all over the country and made a "second sweetheart deal" with Mother Harley to stop us "foreigners" from buying from the US Dealerships.  It makes me wonder what happened to our Canadian Law Makers when they allow this kind of "Monopoly" to happen in our Country  :nixweiss:

Couldn't agree with you more Martys. But Deeley really does have the Canadian "RETAILERS" by the short and curlies. I thought it was the last straw when they got the MOCO to clamp down on US dealers from dealing with ppl outside their catchment area. That effectively threw a wrench into those of us that bought Stateside.
