I know this is/will be hard to do, but I think I would wait and let the aftermarket catch up w/the new technology (110ci) and see what comes out. Not sure where you live (I see you are in Pa after posting this so unless you are a diehard rider you may have minimal riding during winter), but if you are going to be doing minimal riding during the winter, read all you can on exhaust options for the new motor, wait and decide before next spring riding season. Just my $.02

FireD00D,

Thanks for the input!  I am from PA, I ride year round as long as there's no snow on the ground!

The V&H's are available with the O2 sensors and I was looking to purchase the goodies with the bike deal that will happen next week.

I'll probably run 1000 miles before I put anything on, just wanted to get the parts.  Hopefully in a few months there will be some good maps out there.

As I stated on another thread, MY JEster will be shod with the '07 D & D FAT CAT with the NEW Quiet Baffle.  Why no place to vote for D & D, or at least NONE OF THE ABOVE!! :)

Firedood...

I'm with you on this.

I'm going to leave mine stock through the winter while everybody (manufacturers) gets their exhausts perfected and then plan on an install in the spring.

Its gonna be hard to wait, but I've already been through the 'bought two sets' stage and don't want to make that mistake again.  Its bad enough to spend $1500 on a set of true duals and a power commander/race tuner and an air cleaner without compounding things by buying a set of slip ons in the middle to add an extra $4-500 to the cost just to be happy with performance and sound.

I'm with 4stars & Dood on this as much as it's killing me to leave it stock(because stock sucks) I'm waiting for more options. If for nothing else just to see what else may come out. I hate buying things more than once.

I took a different route, went with Hookers (dealer reccomended for performance) and other mods & will see what the market comes up with.  If someone comes up with a really great set up I will switch out.  Can always sell the pipes on Ebay to defer part of the cost but in the mean time I do not have to settle for the stock pipes.

I would have to agree with waiting for the aftermarket performance market. BUT! Zippers has some tremendous new offerings (just received the package via snail mail) Thundermax, etc., Freedom has pipes. '06 & '07 pipes (with O2 sensor bungs) are identical. The bottom end changes for '07 (block and tranny) necessitate a new bracket for the rear cylinder pipe to be supported above the tranny. Freedom thinks the bracket will be available by the end of the month. Ness Big Sucker from '06 will cross over too. So there are some options already available if you just cant wait!

I've been doing some research and after talking with my dealer, I'm going to stay with the stock headers and put the Vance & Hines Oval slippons on, SE Air Filter and the PCIII.

Okay. This is something that has always puzzled me. Why do most of the Harley Dealers recommend the Pwer Comander III over the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner? Does Harley own the PCIII as well? Seems to me the SERT would be the better option.
..............................................................................................................................
Rob,

Most folks recommend what they are most familiar with, and the Power Commander has been around a lot longer than the Race Tuner.
