As Greg stated, the DOT site as well as the HD site is full of good information on your scooter using the VIN.  This, as well as information and history from the dealer should help with any anxiety issues buying a used CVO.
By the way, welcome to our humble site from East Tennessee.  Any issues/problems/experiences/rides you have with that springer can be shared and answered here on the site.  Great folks here and now we can add your name to that list.

So enjoy the site, that new (to you) FXSTSSE2 and keep it between the ditches... :bananarock:

Beautiful Springer John!!  I had a new 1997 Springer Heritage and really liked that bike....wish I'd kept it but already had 10 bikes at the time I sold it and needed to make room for a new one in 2005.
