Alain, I've already welcomed but wanted to comment on where you live.  My daughter just finished her French major (came back last of December, 2012) as an exchange student at the University in Grenoble and really had a great time.  She traveled a bit on her off days from school and had the chance to visit most of the region, flying in for school in September and coming home in December from Lyon.  I saw her pics and is a beautiful area of the world.
