Recommended Battery for SEEG
« on: March 18, 2013, 04:42:09 PM »

:orange:  Any advice on what battery to run in SEEG?  I've been running the OEM for years but they seem to lose some of their power after about one year.  I like to hear the motor spin, even off the compression stroke when the engines hot.  Am I asking for the impossible?

I replaced my OEM battery and then found out it was the starter. I didn't quite get 20,000 out of the original. The new starter makes it start like a different bike, plus getting the chrome didn't hurt the looks any either.

Check the thread linked below.  You need the same battery he was asking about.  Save some money.

:orange:  Thanks Twolanerider.  I've ordered the battery". That extra cold cranking power should do the trick.

Put a DEKA in wifes Road King last spring. Good price, works great. Will get one for the SEUC when it needs one.

Glad to help.  It's a battery that has proved as good or better than the OE branded product for close to $70 less.  Definitely worth giving it a shot.

I'm sure the Deka is a great battery. My dealer keeps the SEEG up very well for me, 50k and I think I had to pay for 1 battery
