Bassani Road Rage 2>1 for Breakout (new model pipe)

I'm still going with the rocker version, but at least they got on the ball and created on specifically for the Breakout.

Mine are in the kitchen waiting to be installed this week (by me-Rocker version) other than the O2 ports I don'r see much difference. Mine came with the polished end-cap. I like it better than the black anyway.

Agreed on the endcap. The guys I ordered mine through ordered the pipes for the regular softail. Just happened to call and see what model they ordered, thought it might be the new ones since they called Bassani to verify fitment. Pretty sure they haven't seen a breakout since they told me those pipes are supposed to fit all 2013 softails. Don't think they realize it has a 240 on the rear, they just heard softail and figured it would work. Good thing I called them and rectified the situation. Would have been pissed Sat morning if they had the wrong pipes.

Pipe sounds great but I think I am going to go with something shorter to show off that awesome rear wheel

Does anyone recognize what bars they have on the Breakout in the video?

I know that Harley just released some apes specifically for the Breakout- like $430 or something insane.  I'm sure many bars will fit, but I wouldn't know which ones.  I would go aftermarket for some apes, I would just make sure my guy doing the work knows which bars to get, which of course he would.  I want to go with some mini apes myself, but don't want to spend the $ right now on new cables.

Does anyone recognize what bars they have on the Breakout in the video?

The model number listed in the video doesn't seem to appear on Bassani's website.

The new pipes aren't on there. I'm going with the rocker model Road rage 2>1 shorts. Model # STR-237SM.

Update per my conversation with Bassani today, the only difference between the old part number and the new one is: (drum roll please)
the new part number comes with the 12mm O2 bungs and the correct collector heat shield that should have been in there already. They are sending those out to us who ordered the rocker version.

So basically would have kept us from having to use the adapters and wait on the correct heat shield.  Still like the chrome end cap better than the black one.

they just use the adaptors on the rocker model. there is no difference. they send the adaptors and the correct heat shield. no actual changes were made to the rocker design. one advantage is the bigger wide band O2 sensors (18mm) can be used, and are in the correct location for tuners that take advantage of the wide band sensors. you can purchase the aluminum (polished) end cap. or order the rocker version with the end cap included along with the $10.00 bungs. They will send the heat shield as the rocker kit never included the correct one. I believe I was the first to point this out to them as they seemed unaware before I sent them the pictures.
