I wish Cyril will be more inquisitive about this “CVO Breakout” Issue. So many rumors since the MOCO will not give specifics to their own dealers…or the dealers are sworn secrecy.

From a H-D forum ” M13 CVO Breakout will be a one year model. They already brought out the
 non-CVO version and next year’s CVO Soft-tails is going to be the M14 Heritage.
 Rumors and more rumors.

It is hard to believe that such a successful model will be discontinue. Although H-D has the right to do so with any model that is not selling well…but a CVO Breakout that was received so well by H-D enthusiast?

Cyril should dig a bit more to have the true facts known…

Oh dear I think I wet my pants a little, it has arrived, crap photo , but only had the phone, just got to get the pipes fitted, number plate bracket taken off and it will be on the road,
Reflectors off, maybe the smaller USA mirrors, and lowering wil be the next mods

I am envious, same color as I had chosen but I am one of the unlucky ones who missed out & had there order cancelled

Black & Silver is the way to go

Hey Rod,
I am still reading that some orders were not canceled. A few units were delivery timely, although appears to me that those deliveries were made outside USA. Where is your dealer and what excuse did they give you why they canceled your order?

I still have my deposit for next year model. Now I hear that this is the only year for CVO Breakouts. Dealer told me (This dealer is in NJ) that he doubts they will cancel the 2014 year model production altogether. But he claims not to knowing a thing. He also mentioned that he can't promise H-D will repeat same colors if they do have another year production of CVO Breakouts. He says that H-D change colors every year. We'll see what happen in August after the dealer meeting.

I have bought my bike in Australia

I have copies of the letter sent from HD USA to HD Australia & then forwarded onto my dealer

as for the colors I believe there will be a total color change for the CVO line up, I may be wrong but I cant recall any year that they have carried over the color & paint scheme to the next year model

There are a few available at various dealers around the US, but I am sure the shipping would be be high.  Of course if you have the money then nothing is impossible.

Last March 29th, I was told by a H-D dealer that the delivery of scheduled CVO Breakouts was cancel/suspended until MY2014. One customer was expecting his bike early April. That bike shipment was cancel. Instead, H-D have schedule to ship to this dealer a CVO Ultra.
I posted my "story" here and a bunch of people made comments about it.

Since March 29th, has anyone received delivery of any CVO Breakout units in USA?

I received my CVO Breakout on April 16 after waiting 7 months.

He's right- found one last in MA at $40k.  There's one in El Cajon, CA I just pulled my deposit from due to military orders.  It was  marked up $5,100.

CVO Breakouts are selling for £30k in the UK, people are asking £50k now for bikes with 160 miles on the clock crazy

I would be tempted to sell for $5000+ over cost, but then I would be selling a bike that I really worked hard to find and I love it, so it wouldn't be worth it to me (not to mention the various customizing I have done).

Obviously, everything has a price, but this is really a very special bike from the MoCo......especially if they end up not making it in 2014.......this one is a keeper for me.....like my wife says...."we can add to the motor pool, but nothing leaves...we can always build more garage space"......what a lucky guy I am
