Welcome from Stockbridge, GA!  Your going to enjoy that new CVO.  Do your exhaust research on this site; my advice is before you decide on which exhaust put your break-in miles on the bike and find the absolute best Harley shop (Harley shop doesn't necessarily mean an OEM shop) and tuner that's within a distance your willing to take your bike to. Decide whether you want to tune for torque and grunt or HP and RPM.....most of us baggers tune for torque.  You didn't mention where you are from, if you say what city or part of the country you are from you are likely to get advice on a good shop to use for tuning your bike.

A warm welcome to another Roman Gold/Emerald RG owner from East Tennessee.  That's really a great color combination and congrats on that scooter.  As for apes and exhaust, there's quite a few threads on both subjects so read up and enjoy the discussion.  A few pics of the scoot when you get a chance would be great as we all like to view da scooters... :2vrolijk_21:

Enjoy the site, that new FLTRXSE2 and keep it between the ditches... :bananarock:

Wow, I hadn't even noticed that darker color was dark green! Slick! I know a lot of folks seem to like the Yaffe apes. Fullsac x2. Congratulations on a great looking bike. I heard said that once you go RG, you don't go back, but It was too long for my short arms.

Welcome from Las Vegas.

2013 Roman gold/emerald.......Traded in my 2004 FLHTC. Was preparing to customize the FLHTC when introduced to the CVO, it was love at first sight.......needs a little bit more noise out the rear, suggestions? And some apes too.

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! Congrats on the new bike! Several ways to go on the exhaust, very subjective, lot of different thoughts. Check the exhaust topic and do a search it will help you a lot. I, like a lot of others here liked the look of the big stock 4" mufflers but they were to quiet, so I got the Fullsac 2.25" baffles. Now I have to admit they were not as loud as I thought they would be but it is OK because I can still hear the XM radio at freeway speeds without using full volumn. It really comes down to how loud you want it to be and how much money you want to spend. Good luck.
