Sundowner seat for SEEG
« on: September 25, 2006, 10:42:32 PM »

Does anyone know what Sundowner seat will fit the 05 SEEG?  It is NOT the seat that
the catalog says will fit (51542-01B).  >:( I ordered this one from Chicago HD AFTER I told them
I had a SEEG.  Once received it was obvious it did not fit.  >:( The SEEG tank panel is longer than
a standard FLHT bike.  The guy at the dealership says I need the seat that fits a street glide.
Anyone know for sure?? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
thanks [smiley=cherry.gif]

The one for a Road King Custom will fit (51093-04A).

The SEEGs have a long tank dash like a RK, so you need the RK seat.

Hope that helps.

I have 2 of them one for the road king and one for the flhx   the issue with the roadking sundowner is that mine came with the logo on the side of the seat the v ... and problem is when you sit on that one it compresses down into the saddle bags and scratches them.   I recommend getting the plane jane sundowner for the road king or the sundowner for the flhx .. the flhx matches closer to the 04  seeg driver back rest.

That's the problem I'm having with the H-D Sun Ray heated seat that I just got a couple months ago.

I have got this heated seat. I think it is for a Road King but it doesn't have a V on it so no problem there.

However, once I turn on the seat by depressing the button on the side the damm thing stays on until I next turn off the ignition.

The dealer said something about multiple presses on the accessory switch. I had no joy and with the wrong pants it burns your ass!!!!!!!!
