New Baby picked up Last Night!

After a short wait (my timing was perfect I guess, ordered in March, delivered in April), I picked up the Red Breakout!  Picture isn't the best, but all I have so far.  After a 30 minute ride home, initial review is tremendous!  Great bike.  Very comfortable.  Only needs a few mods:  pipes, Cobra Fi2000, windshield (only for winter...), and I think that's about it.  Fun times!!!

Excellent!  I think you get the prize for shortest wait after ordering......

Get those pipes and Cobra rocking to liven it up...that's all this bike needs.

I have the Fi2000 on my V-Rod and it works extremely well.  I just had to adjust the fuel mix for when the unit is not actively tuning(at idle and while cruising), by adjusting the small attenuator inside the unit.

Thanks for the advice on the adjustment.  I should be getting the unit tomorrow, and installing Saturday!

You may not need it.  They said they use a "general" setting that works for the majority of HD's(big twins most likely).  I was experiencing some surging around 3k in every gear on the V-Rod until I made the fuel change

I was doing some demo rides in Phoenix a couple of years ago in September....thought I was going to die.....it was 110 degrees....and riding an air cooled bike....wow...

I worry about that too, but the EITMS that I've had on other bikes seems to work well...also, the Cat has to be killed.  Just doing that drops average temperature of the engine about 20 degrees.....
