I tried using the Map Source that came with my other Garmin. That really sucks. Doesn't show half the roads I want to take.

I'll have to look at the Base Camp software.

I use the USB Cable and plug my Zumo 660 into my system. BaseCamp will use the same maps your Zumo Has.

I know I'm going to catch flack for this, but I can't resist.

Try changing the profile for the voice commands from the default lady to a guy.

Jerry ::)

I found Garmin Dave "Voice" more like riding with Don Rickles
There is a site that you can download Clint Eastwood, Arnold and The Drill Sargent.
Can just imagine how riding with The Drill Sargent would be

Foolish Question - Have you updated your Garmin Maps & Software?

I use Base Camp and think it works great, if you want to take a less traveled road just make sure to put in a  waypoint on the road.  One reason I like it is it goes where I want, the quickest route. I prefer interstates and direct routes, not fond of driveways, cows, dogs, deer tractors etc in the two lane roads.

those who have difficulties with or just dislike base camp may try Tyre, a google maps based little program wich is real easy to handle. Special benefit: you may share your routes with others using different hardware.

Google maps routes fairly similar to garmin and uses a similar data base if you tell garmin to take the fastest way. To pick just exactly the road you want just use waypoints. Of course you will have to check as maps are never 100 % indentical and especially the Zumo ladies always want to have "their way" - but the latter even happens with base camp generated routes  ;)
