I stood behind my buddy`s Maple and looked at the rear fender and suddenly i recognized that the middle line of the paint job runs to the left-side , took  the measure and definitely the line is 1 cm more to the left than to the right . Do you get what i mean ?
 I took a picture , look at the middle-line : ( proove for hand made custom paint job - wow )

I don't know, I've never seen a glare have such a sharp cutoff like what I see on the left side.

sure made me go out and check mine.  I have the same model bike and mine has more dark brown, less metallic and it's straight.

I believe you are correct, Jerry.  It's not glare as you show with your added straight lines.  If it came from the factory like that (there seems to be some debate on this thread it may be repainted?), the QA folks were drunk, high or both!  I could understand a missed blemish or two but my 4 year old grandson noticed it was off.  Tells you something about the QA at the MoCo lately....

Maybe they are painted in China  
Have to to start calling them Hawley Dav vison soon  
Made in China just dont have the same ring as Made in THE USA!
