Ok, w/o further ado. It wouldn't be right if I didn't make the 10K post something special.
I'll start this post w/some borrowed words from my twin brotha from another mother. His ability to put feelings into words are much better then mine…
…….
Unlike what I assume to be the case with many of the population here I don't have experience with other online populations in fora like this. So this crowd is the touchstone I measure the experience from. For that reason I can't imagine much interest in other such fora as the group of people here is truly commendable. Other must pale in comparison.
Whether it be the general level of intelligence shared, the degrees of self assuredness that allow people to so comfortably just be themselves and roll with the humor and good times so often shared or the shared interests in the bikes themselves this place just works. And by "place" I obviously mean this group of people.
Certainly when a group this large comes together there will be the occasional clinker, the loose cannon on the rolling deck without the self surety or security to effectively play well with others. But unlike any other large group of people those numbers here have always been so appreciatively and commendably small. So rather than any thanks to me for copious typing the thanks actually go the other way for being a group both bright enough and fun enough to talk to.
My friends, it is appreciated.
Now I’ll add some of my own words. It just seems like yesterday when I was approached by MrsWeCVO at the Va. State H.O.G. Rally in 2005 and she informed me about this site. She then introduced me to Mr.WeCVO and while at the Rally I met Shrader another member here. From that chance meeting of those three I've got to know all those that have become a part of my CVOHarley family.
I'd like to thank Naitram (Neal) for providing this place for us to become friends, riding partners, wrenching buddies and whatever else we call each other. Along w/that I'd like to thank all the members for making this place what it is; a great place for resources and just to hang out. I don't know of many places in this world (if there are any) where perfect strangers would reach out to one another like I've seen it done here. We laugh, cry, bitch, moan, fuss, fight, get over it, all the other emotions a family does together, and a lot of this is done w/o ever knowing the person that is on the other keyboard typing. We attend events/rides meet members and it's like we've known each other forever there are no strangers. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought something like this would exist it amazes me when I come here and hear the comments of those that have been members for a while and the new members that join. The feelings are for the majority all the same. This is a great community consisting of even greater members.
To all my CVOHarley Family I would like to say thanks for being a part of my life and I hope I've been a pleasant addition to yours.

Ride Safe,
Fired00d
