Well, it looks as if it may only be a LIGHT rain day here so far. They have actually downgraded today's forecast from Heavy Rain to mere Showers... albeit still with a 100% chance of precipitation.

We received only about 1" yesterday. Relatively speaking, things are starting to dry out!

Temps are creeping all the way back up into the friggin' SEVENTIES, too! 

But my morning coffee is beginning to taste a bit moldy...

P.S. - I hereby disclaim any and all responsibility for anyone else's rain issues, as I have not left the Badger Den in many days now!

I have no idea how large my apparent Joe Btfsplk Sphere Of Influence really is... but I'm blaming Mary, because every time SHE leaves town, it seems to clear up here and rain wherever SHE goes. Hmmmm.... that's what I call a suspicious correlation.

I hear ya ken we rented one of them mountain chalets in Gatlinburg in july lost two days to rain comin down in buckets and in may was there for sons wedding stayed in town constant rain

My area of TN is over 41 inches so far this year, which is right at the average for a whole year.  The news said we are on track to beat a record rain fall that was set in the late 1800's.....

My wife said the grass got so high between days it did not rain she had to cut it twice the one nice day, cut it with deck height at 4.5 then at 2.5 so the mower did not die.

Wiz had to do basically the same thing to his HUGE yard this weekend, too. Just before the RAINS came!

I'm glad only a small portion of our 8 acres are cleared for the lawn... our woods are maintenance-FREE!
