Well it took almost 4 months,, but they finally showed up today.   Even with my bad knee,,,  had surgery last week on it,,, I couldn't resist installing them tonite.   My wife had school, so I had some "free" time and no one telling me how nuts I am that I was moving around in the garage.    So I gathered any tools I would need,, and got out my favorite bucket to sit on,,,  the only thing with these,, is that you will have to modify the baskets.   They have to be cut down to fit the new speaker inside.    So I snipped off any plastic that was in the way.   I did buy the HD gaskets and they are totally worth it.. They fit perfectly and are peel and stick.  The speakers went right in and fit perfectly.     The sound is amazing.   They sound better at a louder volume,..   No distortion and I am running a 4 channel amp with 2 channels heading to the saddlebag speakers.    They really sound great and so far very happy with them.   Hopefully in a few weeks, I can get out there and test them on the road,,, I am very confident they will sound fantastic,,  also,,, these speakers have a  "bridged type" tweeter..   So they won't flood out the bags when it rains,,,   :2vrolijk_21:    Stuart

Do they maintain the water tight seal? I ride in the rain daily.

4ohm.   I used the gaskets from hd.  They work and fit best.    :2vrolijk_21:   The tweeters are bridged. Should have no leaks at all  :)
