My CVO should have come in yellow
« on: May 18, 2013, 05:22:32 PM »

Seventy five miles on my 2013 CVO road king I went into limp home mode.I was 5 miles from selling dealer. After many resets I made it there .After being scolded for having no appointment I left the bike .I went to pick it up this morning. The throttle issue is fixed but I was informed my trans is bad and they would need to rebuild it.I was told MD has no right of rescission and I would have to stick with my screaming lemon.I held back from giving him my theory of where he could stick it.The owner of the dealership got involved and he graciously offered me another brand new bike. In the end the dealer made it right ,but I am no longer sure if the red ones are faster lol.

Welcome from northern Illinois! Glad things worked out, as with every make and model there are bound to be problems with some.

THanks for the warm welcome. This is my third Harley. If you have to ask what is special about them you have not owned one yet.I own an auto body and repair shop and totally understand mechanical issues.I am lucky it happened right out of the gate and my dealer was top notch .They are switching all of my accessories just installed on "old bike"and I will be mobile again by Wednesday. Thanks again for the support.
