Steve
There has been some discussion about departing from use of the HD-6R12 plug and implications relevant to ion sensing and knock.
I am particularly interested in the NGK iridium plugs which are very popular (DPR7EIX and DCR8EIX).
Can you tell me whether there are any adverse effects when using these plugs?
Thanks

I have used DCPR7E and DCPR8E with no adverse affects.  NGK told me that they had same resistance and stock plug and they do make some stock HD plugs.

Sorry but we do not do plug testing, as such I cannot answer you. I have had issues with some plugs and wires and always switched back to HD OEM plugs and wires (not SE stuff) and the issues disappear. I am sure if someone spent the time you could try different ones and see what happened but we just do not have the time here.
