Each year I do a trip with a few friends around the state of Arizona, this year we had four CVO's, in the group, we went up through Wickenburg, over the Yarnell Pass to Prescott, up to Ashfork and picked up old route 66 through Seligman, Hackberry and Oatman. Stayed the night in Laughlin, NV then the next day went up to Henderson and jumped on SR 167 that is the Lake Mead northshore drive, this is an excellent road, nice sweeping curves, and the roadway is in excellent shape, comes out at I-15 at Logan, NV. We then went up through Hurricane and through Zion National Park down to Page AZ for the night. The next day we ran down across the Navajo and Hopi Indian Reservations, down to Holbrook and then on down to Eagar. Day four was to be a run down the "Devil's Backbone" SR191 (Old 666), but the youngster on his crotch rocket hit gravel in a curve and crashed, he walked away thankfully to god and the proper riding gear, You will see a couple picks of the landing. Was a great trip with great friends, even with the crash at the end.
