Radio Expansion from Harley

Has anyone added the additional amps for 3rd and 4th channel speakers to their lowers and saddle bags? It is expensive but I am willing to go through with it if there is more base created with it. I also seen there is a upgrade needed on the radio software and Harley has to do it. I usually do all my own work.

Any thoughts or experience with it?

I didn't put it on the electronic thread because I didn't want to hear from all the streetglide guys with no tour pack.

Added the Harley amp in saddle bag and speakers in lowers. Had it installed new, I think it was around $800.
