Wild 1 Chubby Bagger Bar
« on: October 05, 2006, 09:40:20 PM »

I need to get my bars back a couple of inches and am thinking about the Wild 1 Chubby Bagger Bar.  Harley doesn't make a set of extended reach handlebars with internal wiring.  I think there was a thread some time back about the Wild 1 Chubby Bagger Bar but I can't find it.  Anyone have any experience with the Bagger Bar?  Or is there another option out there that I'm not aware of??

Did them on the 04 they are great,  the big pain is the one piece clamp they say you need.  I had to take mine to a machine shop to have the bolt hole reamed deeper so the allens would clear the radio(they stuck up to far) other than that it was a piece of cake to install.

I have Wild 1 bars on my SEUC and they are great! Easy to do, if you pay the dealer to do it. I did not have the single clamp put on, just the stock ones. It is my understanding that the ONLY issues ever had was when using tie-downs on the bars.

First...don't trailer your bike

Second...don't tie to the bars

By the way..I have short arm syndrome and that bars work great for me!

Hello SE ULTRA;
With the Wild 1 Chubby Bagger Bar, do you think that the fairing mount mirrors are useable ?
Thanks

Umm..errr......I would think they would be. I don't see mine getting in the way. I never really thought about it too much as I have no real desire to drill into that painted inner fairing.

They look nice on the bike.  Did you have to lenghten any of the wiring?

I'd post some of mine but they look just like SE_ULTRAs! (even the same year & color scheme).
I'm lovin' mine! Best money I've spent on the scoot so far. I did use the 1 piece clamp from Custom Chrome. Fit perfect and no machining needed.
Get 'em & get 'em on!  ;) [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Had 'em on my 02 FLHTCUI.  Loved em.............but I hated not being able to get the rubber fillers back in the fairing around the chubs.  Also.........since I used a one piece clamp, my lower inner fairing wouldn't fir right.  Other than that, they were awesome bars.
