Can you tell me if the bolts around the primary cover and the rest of the engine were zinc coated or chrome?

Chrome bolts?  Silly boy.... 


No, Harley does not feel we pay nearly enough for these bikes to actually get chrome hardware .

That's what I suspected.    May be some chrome hot toppers in my future.

Might also check for a set of polished stainless hardware.  No more rusty holes and no pop tops to pop off.
