Have run in to that with 107 builds from 103 when the guys wanted to much over 50mm. Didn't know where the dividing line would be on the modern version of a 95/98 build with more current cams. Good to know the stock TB can keep up with the engine that far. If money doesn't have to spent nor fuel has to be poured no reason to do it.
A ported 1 pc late model OE Delphi, can support snappy grunt combos, but IF the client wants a broader, longer curve, an upgrade to something with a bit more ability to supply the volume needed once it spools off, would be in order.
A NH-based outfit last week tuned to their "guarded amazement", our 98"/Andrews 37 cam/Bassani pipe/HPI 51/our heads/10.0 cr to 110/110, as we were told by the very excited/happy Mass. client just today.
Wouldn't have popped those numbers with an OE t/body, just sayin'.
BTW, those numbers/power curve would put the hurt on a lot of bikes.
