For all you "stereo junkies" like myself, here are my new saddlebag speaker lids from Hogtunes being shipped today to my painter...they are made to fit 6X9 speakers, either from Hogtunes or your own speakers...quality product from Scott, Pez and Susan from Hogtunes!

Pic 1:

So how is the gasket on the bag, does it look like it will seal? How much were the new lids? I need some.

Are just the lids available or are you forced to take the speakers?

The HT site shows the kit, I may have missed the just the lids.

You can just order the lids which I did, and will be installing the Focal 6X9 speakers:

See this page for both options:

Have you had an opportunity to install the new lids yet? What do you think of them?

i dont think HD is offering any '14 cvo's with bag speakers..  I know the RK doesnt have speakers in them , the RG is missiing,, and the Ultra Limited never had them at all... :nixweiss:   The after market might be getting busy,,,   :)

Can someone who has these installed comment on the build quality, seal, fit, etc. I like the design but am unsure since I can't lay my hands on a set (in Afghanistan). Any insight would be appreciated. Murph

Thanks BigLew, was curious about the fit as they will go straight to paint and I won't be able to do a dry fit first. Only get 2 weeks for R&R and won't have the time to do otherwise. Murph

Only problem I had was with the screens. Trying to paint them was a mess!

No doubt about it...

CVOSTU, can you give me a rundown on your current audio set up?  Seems there are few admirers out there.  About to take the plunge on this, but no desire to reinvent the wheel here.

After a very long delay, I finally received my painted Hogtune lids but I have not had a chance to install yet so will now be a winter project, but here is what they look like painted in the white gold pearl for my "Skunk":
