Day 4 was just as windy as yesterday.  :'(. But I think I'm getting better at leaning when going down the road at 80 MPH.   :multi:  We did 420 miles and are now in Amarillo, Texas.  If all goes as planned, we will finish up the last few hundred miles tomorrow and happily be in Santa Fe in time for supper!   :2vrolijk_21:

Pictures taken at a gas stop in Calumet, Oklahoma.





The following pictures were taken at the last stop for the day, Amarillo, Texas.  Picture's were taken in front of the American Quarter Horse Museum.  We had fun taking them after the end to a long day.., so enjoy the humor.   :P

It is hot but a different hot.  The wind blow all the time, but the air is dry and not humid so it doesn't feel hot like back home!

No luck on my boot quest  ???   But, I haven't given up yet!  Believe it or not but they wear those pointy boots down here!   :'(

Please promise me that you will make it to one of these GGT's so we can shake hands and I can tell you what a nice person you are in person!

Judy, glad y'all made it out...wind and all... :2vrolijk_21:  It does get pretty windy out there and as for the heat, I agree it's hot but a much different hot (ain't got no humidity to speak of).  Enjoy the time and all the scenery that part of the country gives you.  Gotta get up to Los Alamos (town) if you can.  Interesting place.

Today was a great day!  We rode to the Bandelier National Monument where we were given a guided tour of the Peueblo Indian's habitat.  We then headed into Santa Fe where we shopped the Native American Indian's selling their goods.., and YES  :apple: I found my Cowboy boots!   :2vrolijk_21:

Enjoy the pictures.  :)

We also went to the Cathedral Basilica Catholic Church.  Very beautiful.  :2vrolijk_21:
