Thank you Dave for your response.  I try to post pictures of my travels so everyone can feel like they are on the ride with me.  ::).  There are times when I just feel like I'm wasting my time.., but then I get a response like your's and I know that if you enjoyed them, than I will continue to post them.   :2vrolijk_21:

Today we road to Los Alomas and went to the Science Museum.



This is a replica of the "Fat Bomb" that was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan.







We stopped on the way to the museum for a few photo's











We all climbed on a bus and went to the Restaurante Rancho de Chimayo for supper.  Everyone had a great time as we wrapped up this year's GGT.  I formed many new friendship's and as I leave NM tomorrow I will take with me the memories of a great time in a beautiful state.  Thank you Simon and everyone else that helped make this event so successful.   I hope to see everyone in the Valley as the GGT vest was passed on to me to safely see that it makes it's way to MV.

Thanks for the pics and glad y'all got to go out to LANL, at least to the museum.  Los Alamos is a very interesting place.  When Qwest had the telecom contract at the lab in the late 90's and early 2000's, I had the opportunity to visit a few times as the Qwest safety manager.  Got to go in and visit some interesting buildings and saw some great scenery.  As for Fat Man and Little Boy, just remember they were designed before the computer age....amazing stories there.

That was a great adventure. It' always a shame they have to end,...BUT,.. were one ends a new one begins. Now there's the adventure of getting home. Look forward to seeing your trip home. We changed our route home to avoid the heat in Texas by going North to Colorado Springs and that backfired...,   :'( it was 101 degrees in Colorado today.  We headed east from Colorado Springs with a rainstorm nipping at our backs.  Short of a few raindrops, we managed to out run the storm!   :2vrolijk_21:  We managed to do 352 miles today and have gotten a room for the night in Limon, Colorado.
