2011 FLHX, with 4" Rineharts.

Left side baffle is rattling, making annoying noise (think Chinese water torture).

Without removing the end cap, I can stick a screwdriver in the end of the muffler and rotate/spin the baffle.

Any suggestions?

replace your cores with Fullsac 2.25 SD ....will take care of problem

Mine did the same thing pulled baffle ( vary easy to do) and just peened the flange on inlet end reassembled no problem since.

Call Rinehart Racing... they will send you a kit to upgrade to current production...consist of a drill bit and a new screw and nut...seems you have an older version which eventually rattles ... new production mufflers are bolted in place with a screw and nut replacing one of your current screws in your end cap now...

I pulled my endcaps off to replace them with PM tips, and one of the baffles just came out. Called Rinehart and was surprised to learn they are just pressed fit, and are not bolted in. Anything to save a manufacturing buck I guess

So, are the new 4" Reinharts fixed?  Was planning on getting these but don't want any problems.
