CB and Hand held microphone
« on: June 30, 2013, 04:11:37 PM »

I'm hoping that somebody here can help me out.
Last year I owned a 2007 FLHTCUI. I brought and installed a hand held mic to use with the CB. It worked great!

This year I bought a 2008 FLHTCUSE3. It seems that the CB mic will not work now like it did on the 2007. No CB sound through the speakers, in any of the 3 position.

Any suggestion as to why?  Thanks in advance.   ???

Does it work without the mic?  You should still be able to hear the CB.

The only time I hear the CB is when I have the HD headset on and the switch all the way forward. I cannot hear the CB in any other position. Am I supposed to?

With switch all the way forward, the CB should interrupt the music through the speakers.  Middle position, CB and intercom through the headset, music through the speakers.  All the way forward, everything through the headset.

Well I tried the suggestion of the forward speaker switch plus hand held mic. results were disappointing. no cb chatter through the speakers...NUTS!!

More suggestions please!! :confused5:
