Water pipe I went over or under many times. Right after I went under it here I took a switchback and immediately went over it. Was kind of cool. You have to get off the main roads sometimes!
Never did figure out were the water came from, but it ends up at the substation on the river.

The only way my wife got to see the Dragon at Deals Gap on the bike (it is in the background here).
She did get to do my "terror" ride during Monday's storm so I got her a "I survived the Dragon" t-shirt.
I think she earned it.

I know that on the Wed Ride, JR was in front of me at the gas pump...he pumped $6.66 on pump 6...

This is the first time I have reviewed the entire thread here...some really awesome pictures from everyone.  Thanks for sharing them.

Since I left Maggie Valley, I was home only one day and once I return home next week I will share my own photos.  Of course they will not compare to the professional shots here, however there may be a different one or two to share.

A great experience all around...

GREAT SHOTS PORTHOLE. I LIKE THE ONE OF YOU & WIFEY RELAXING ON THE PORCH. SHES ENJOY A HOT CUP OF COFFEE & YOU A COLD BREWSKI. WE TOO HAD RENTED A CABIN IN FRANKLIN BUT DID NOT GET TO ENJOY THAT PORCH & ROCKERS AS MUCH AS I WOULDED LIKED. DID GET MY SHARE OF MILES ON THE BIKE IN THE WEEK WE WERE GOINE, AT 1900 MILES. A late addition to all the "people photos" from the group pics on Friday.  And don't forget everyone, if you had a photo taken with friends in front of the group of bikes you can find it in the gallery section in its higher res format for a better (larger) image.
