Yes, that bumper in the picture is exactly what comes standard on our convertibles.  it is positioned on the left side of the frame, back about 3" from the rear end of the floorboard.  that is what protects the frame from the kickstand.  On the end of the kickstand is another beefy rubber bumper that protects the bottom of the primary cover from the kickstand(presumably if the frame bumper doesn't line up).  I haven't been adept enough yet to be able to see exactly where the kickstand bumper lines up as I can't stand on my head and hold the bike up at the same time.  However, on the occasion you put the bike on a bike hoist, it can be done so both items line up.

This bumper from my Link comes not as standard equipment on the HDI bikes, if you know it you can buy it separatly :thumbsdown:
