Deal or No Deal
« on: July 09, 2013, 12:09:20 PM »

Been offered a trade for my CUSE4. He won't add any boot, but even trade. Good deal?
I'm not a Ford man, but at 66 not sure how much longer I can handle 900+ lbs.

All opinions appreceiated, except URA dumbazz.

What options/motor?

It's funny, I traded a '67 Galaxie Q-Code for my Night Train in 2005, just about even-up.

I wouldn't trade or you would wake up in the middle of the night with   in your head.  That Ford in the condition it's currently in isn't worth your CVO straight up.  If it had been rebuilt back to stock....maybe   :nixweiss:

....now if it was the '67 Galaxie in 05train's picture it may be another story.... :)  but would still need some boot with it for the CVO... ;D

No deal, you would really be upside down on such an exchange, not to worry im 73 and don't have a lot of trouble with 900 lbs yet

Thanks Guys.......appears I was sliding towards a bad deal. Thanks 05train, the Galaxie looks much better than the Fairlane. Not sure what the Q-code is......lower production #'s ? I've always been one to say, if he can do it..I can. Everyone is different, but thanks Dartman.........if you can do it, I can!! 2 wheels it is!!!!

Q-Code was the 345hp 428ci engine.  It was a blast.

The Fairlane is a nice car, but you could probably do better in trade for something else.....Or get a decent pile of cash along with it.
