Great paint and looks SUPER! Sort of hate to ask this, but I have read many threads on here about the pitfalls of painting a CVO ($$ wise). Some of the more knowledgeable need to chime in!! Tell me before I make a mistake!

Not aware of any pitfalls.  The cvo's require much more prep work.  Why?  Because one they are not painted at the factory so color match is harder and its a different application process and two, paint must be stripped down to to the bottom and new primers applied or the existing graphics, stripes, etc will bleed through no matter what you try.  Don't ask me how I know :) Other than that go for it but look far and wide for a reputable/experienced painter.

I initially put these in a different section of this forum.  Perhaps this would have been the more appropriate place.  Nonetheless, here are my before and after before Pics.  I am very pleased with the outcome.

Sorry, but it is not for me. The silver line just doesn't flow with all of the curves. It is your bike and you are free to make it your own. The colors are ok but the design is not for me...  I like the stock paint a whole lot more......

Love that look!  It was something I considered if Harley didn't come out with a color combo that I liked, luckily the 11.5 Blue fit my bill perfectly.  Did you consider using a 2nd set of skins?  That was my plan, just to keep the originals in place if ever needed.

I see the upgraded blower, what did you do with the motor?

Thank you for the kind comment. Never gave second skins a thought.  Motor upgrades are listed in my Sig line. Heads, Cams, Tuner, Pipe, Dyno, etc.

Prez the tins would have jacked your price up quite a bit but in the long run it would have been worth EVERY PENNY. I like the new paint but I would have never repainted a set of original CVO tins. But what is done is done. You will not run into another bike looking like yours now!!!!
