Swapping the Volume & Scan up/down buttons
« on: July 16, 2013, 10:04:33 AM »

The reason I'd like to do this is that my Jeep has the volume on the right.......and, with switching between the Jeep and Ruby, I'm continually using the wrong button. I think it can be done in  harness connector by swapping a few pins.

You would need to swap all the functions as the Volume and Mode switches are setup as matrix switches.

It will be a little more difficult than just moving wires around from one connector to another as some of the wires used are shared with other switches and are Y'd inside the sheathing of the wire bundle going up the bars. But it could be done.
