(and in the back of my mind, I seriously hope you're not going thru what Jerry (Ultrafx) warned you about earlier in this thread..)

unfortunately that is in the front of my mind...Honestly I would examine the lifters - or have the dealer investigate further since the bike should still be under warranty.

Bike is still missing. Today it missed for about 15 times in one mile. Then I drove 80 miles without one miss. I can't see it being a fuel filter or fuel problem as I have gone through at least 10 fill ups.
With it being not that frequent could it be plug wires. People are talking about lifters but would bad lifters cause the problem all the time? I had bad lifters in my 2009 and had them replace but they did not make the motor miss.

Short answer, no, lifter(s) going bad but not completly destructed can cause intermittent skip/miss.  That is exactly how my motor started acting up - one little skip and none for well over 100 miles then it got more frequent and by the second day I started hearing a knocking noise.  Now I was on a road trip and rode several hundred miles thinking I might have bad gas, bad spark plug, bad sensor(s), basically all the things that you have covered.

I believe you said your bike was about to go out of warranty.  I sure would get it to a dealer and have the cam chest inspected even if it were on my own dime just for peace of mind.  And like sadunbar does, just replace the lifters even if they are not bad.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Bad 02 sensors could cause your tune to go bad by sending bad information to your bike's brain, causing your bike to run poorly (and likely cause your fuel mileage to change drastically),  but I doubt the end result would be an intermittent miss.

If it were mine I'd bite the bullet and ride over to the dealer and get this documented and on the record (written up on a work order and a copy in my pocket).  The bike is under warranty, and if the dealership is a good one they may actually do some diagnostics and find the problem.  But even if they don't, once you've got it documented that you reported the problem to them while the bike is in warranty, they can't legally blow you off if something fails shortly after the warranty expires.

When I had issues with my lifters this past spring my dealer was quite familiar with the problem with most of the 110's developing an appetite for eating cam chest parts. You never know, the tech might be able to narrow it down by the symptoms you describe.

And like Jerry said, now you have the problem documented - before the expiration of the warranty.

From what you've described, if it was mine, I'd be looking at every electrical connection that has anything to do with ignition and fueling. Check the connection especially on the throttle body, a slightly loose fit will cause intermittent problems from the vibration. Check the connections at the ESm and Tssm for corrosion and or bent pins.
Take it to the dealer, let him check these things, it on their plate (warranty) to resolve this. OH, and yes at 37K, I'd be taking off the cam cover for a quick look see!   fwiw  twinotter

I'm also thinking electrical as I have no abnormal noise buy the push rods and lifters. I checked all the connections and see no problem so i'll wait until Wednesday to see what dealer finds.

Just got back from the dealer and after several hours they found the connector under the fuel tank with a broken wire. The bike crapped out right at their door step.  I'm happy again....

Did they share what component the wire was connected to?

The harness to the motor. It was about to rain so I did not wait for paperwork. They will send it in the mail.

Well the bike was fixed (I thought) and last night on the way home she crapped out. The dealer is on the way to get her. I so glad it happened 5 miles from the house and not on my trip to Tennessee last week. Made it to just under 44,000 miles. My goal to to ride a Harley for 50,000 miles without it breaking. I must be dreaming....

That stinks. Did it go out with the same symptoms you were experiencing before? Might be more going on than a broken wire.
