Any time airflow through the motor is changed, the bike will benefit from a re-map.  A stock bike will run smoother, stronger, and cooler with one too.

If you've added CFR's without changing your head pipe my question would be why? stick on a real head pipe, by a tuner and get a good tune. you will like the results.

I have a decated head pipe heading my way.  I plan on talking with Jamie from fuelmoto and picking up a power vision with a canned tune.

Thanks for the responses,

Good call.  FM's maps are very, very good, and it's easy to fine tune them with the PV.

If the CFRs have the update (restriction) they work as well as any other slipon.
The original CFRs were WAY TOO OPEN to work down low.
Anyone with tuning issues with original CFRs can call them for an update piece.

Can you give us some more info, pics or a link. I have CFR's installed on my scoot, together with the x-pipe C. The more info I can get the better

Thanks...

I have sent them an email and left a voicemail asking about this and if they would confirm it because I have these mufflers. So far i have refused to sacrifice sound for the low end dip. They have not returned either form of contact. I will be doing a cam swap and retune this winter and would like to stay with their mufflers but if i still have the dip on the dyno I may throw them away and start over. I sure would like to try these new baffles!!!

Last month I installed CFR's slip-ons on my '12 CVO Ultra Glide.  I did not change anything else except with the 110 engine you must get a tuner installed.  I installed the H-D SE Race Tuner.  After the Dyno, my horsepower went up 5.4% and my torque increased 4.8%.  HP now at 87.2 and torque at 107.1.  Very noticeable improvement.

SE Race Tuner,
CFR's,
Blacked out Day Maker LED's,
A couple of other upgrades,
What else is needed on a CVO?  Just knees in the breeze!

Anyone considering CFR's should take a close look at the Kerker Stout Mufflers.  Paul Yaffe has a pretty good You Tube video on them.  I considered the CFR's with the fullsac head pipe but there was too much negative out there on them by people that know their chit.

I'd like to see that dyno chart if you could post it..  Lets see, 600 for CFR's,400 for SERT, 300 for dyno.  87/107. vs   Fullsac headpipe, Fullsac 2.25 baffles, SERT, Dyno. 94/104. TW555 cams-102/112.

Fullsac XD pipe, any 2'' baffle slip-on or Fullsac 2'' cores we see 95/116 with the 255 cams on an average all day long, (oh ya need a good tuner and tune also...lol)
