I can't in good faith recommend doing that.  My suggestion is to have it professionally tuned on a dyno.   :drink:

Nope.   Get a Powervision or TTS and tune it yourself.

Sent from my iPad, probably while I'm pooping.

100% agree with this statement.

There are plenty of threads on here to help with a decision.  But what ever you choose check with the tuner.  He may have a system that he is more comfortable with using.

No, I wouldn't recommend it.

What kind of bike are you riding?  I have a Cobra PowrPro that I had on my '12 FLHXSE3.  It worked okay, ran MUCH better than stock.  But I was using it as a bridge until I finished all my mods, then I got a TTS Mastertune.  Two things that were deal breakers:  The Cobra couldn't be adjusted at all, and the support from Cobra was lousy.

That said, if you are a casual rider just looking to enrich your F/A ratio and aren't looking for every last ft lb of torque, it works just fine.  My PowrPro is just gathering dust and I'd sell it CHEAP.  It's for the 110 Touring bikes.

But, if you're a serious rider, do it right the first time and spend the extra money on a dynotune.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice guys the issue in Scotland is getting a good dyno tune . I have the sert tuner on my fat boy lo with just stage1( set up at the dealers) runs okay but I get a lot of decelaration popping etc and I want to avoid this on the ultra . Looks like I might be better going sert again buy the software and tune them both with a lot of advice from the forum members ! Plus going this route would help if any warranty issues arise. Ps the ultra is a Flhtcuse 7

DONT BUY THE SERT even if you can find one discontinued in 07.    Buy the SESPT or TTS.

If you can't find a shop to tune with like Powerglides in the UK, then I would recommend TTS.  There are folks on here that will help you tune your own bike.

SEPST...  not so much.

The biggest single downside to the SEPST is there is absolutely NO tech or customer support for the product.

You can ask your local dealer a question, then he will call the MOCO tech support, then they will call Screaming' Eagle, then they will call the software and/or hardware for advice.

IF the software/hardware guy has a question like "did you try this or that", then the whole process reverses and starts over. In other words, no support.
