Thanks, Dood !  BTW they look great on a pumpkin with your shiny black inner fairing color. I saw one at Thunder Beach in PCB last month.  SLEEK !  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Interesting take on the fairing mount mirrors.  They definitely make the bike look more streamlined and give it a more 'custom' look.  Less is better in that area.  And as far as the less chrome issue, that's the look of the SEEG CVO...less chrome on fenders, and other places that the stock Elec. Glide had chrome, but we just wanted all essential parts to be shiney.  The SEUC is moveing back away from the minimalist look.  It's all in the eye of the beholder and it's all good.  :) har!  [smiley=drink.gif] spyder

Seeing repetitive reports of visibility actually being hindered a bit is enough to keep me from even considering it.  As much as I like the bike to look good I prefer it to work well even more.  And that especially includes things related to vision.  I did try those new mirrors Harley recently started offering that are like two mirrors in one for (supposedly) greater visibility.  Had them on a couple of weeks and took them off to return.  Some design engineer was having a bad day and didn't find out that the square-ish arms they mounted the mirrors on had an O.D. large enough to contact the master cylinders before the mirrors could be deflected outboard enough to adjust them where you needed them to be.  No way around the problem either.  The mirror head would have actually been quite good if you could just have adjusted the field of vision where you needed it to be.

Don't know if anyone has posted this before - recall on some fairing mounted mirrors:

M-1179 2006 FLHXI Mirror Relocation, Recall Code 0121
October 25, 2005
Purpose
Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Inc. has learned that a condition affecting safety exists on some 2006 FLHX and FLHXI model motorcycles. The affected vehicles were built with mirrors that were improperly located on the inner fairing. Due to this improper mounting location, it is not possible to adjust the mirrors properly. This denies the rider the ability to obtain the appropriate rearward field of vision, thereby presenting the risk of a crash and possible injury or death.
In the interest of motor vehicle safety and customer satisfaction, Harley-Davidson has elected to initiate a voluntary recall (Campaign 0121) to allow us to formally recall all affected vehicles. As required by law, you may sell but NOT DELIVER any affected motorcycles to your customers until the recall is performed.
Motorcycles Affected
This campaign involves 2006 FLHX/I motorcycles built from June 8, 2005 through August 15, 2005 and sold in the domestic and HDI markets.
