You want your 110 to idle in the 700's?
Why?
Not the best thing for that motor.

Yea, what SBB said... idling that low w/a 110ci Twinkie (resulting in low oil pressure and inadequate charging of the battery) can lead to problems.

Leave the idle alone, it's set where it is for very good reasons.

It's easy... Just set your idle speed FAR too low, and richen it up to the point of choking it.

Terrible for your engine... but you will sound OH SO COOL! Right up until your engine burns up...

Or just go buy an Evo bike. They do that idle lope naturally... until THEY burn up from lack of bottom end lubrication at under 900 RPM...

Apparently being SMART and being COOL are mutually exclusive. I'll take SMART... I'm a nerd, anyway.

Sometimes Ken, it's not the ride, it's not the destination, it's being seen and looking cool.
There's a name for that.

Simple. Set the idle speed in the SERT to 800.

Heck man, just set it at 650,  just ignore that low oil pressure idiot light!   :2vrolijk_21:  They sell replacement engines at your dealership.

I didn't think it was bad for the bike....I just like the way it sounded.  As for being dumb or a bad ass wanna be....how does liking a loping idle imply that?  .....anyways, I'll leave it be since its bad.

I wouldn't take it that far....but knowing that the factory set the idle where it is for specific reasons is not rocket science!
