Seeing the new bat wings gives us some idea what the new shark nose fairing may look like either this winter or next fall.  Here is the New Road Glide Inner Fairing Assembly by Jim Nasi Customs Inc.    Thoughts?

I think Jim Nasi is one of the most innovative and skilled custom builders out there.  I first met Jim at Sturgis around 10 years ago when he was first getting started.  Nice guy and very talented...

I believe it will be something similar to that however... Naitram and I were talking the other day and he brought up a good point.... For the "infotainment" (radio) really to be functional it would need to be a little closer to the rider. As it is now on the Shark Wings that is a long reach/view to the inner fairing... if there was some sort of remote "infotainment" interface that sits about where the current speedo/tach is on the shark nose's it might just work. OH yea the gauges (information/digits) will need to bigger because as Midnight Rider mentioned in a post in the last couple days we are getting older and eyesight getting worse.

Looking at the side view, it appears the upper inner fairing extends back toward the rider a few inches.  Still quite a reach, tho.  Having the double DIN opens up lots of options for music/nav/dvds - uh oh...

It makes the already huge fairing on the RG look even more bulky.  But it's a pretty nice option for those who want to upgrade their inner fairings.

I'm not a "shark" fan but that's a much nicer layout than HD just tossed out on the Bats!

It is nice however the loss of the glove boxes would suck.

I like the infotainment center up higher like this, safer as you don't have to look down as much. Nice layout of the dash
