Music Quality, Cardo to Zumo: Terrible, Cardo to IPhone: Great ???

I've got the Cardo headset on my Schuberth helmet.  When synced to the Zumo, the mp3 quality is real bad and over modulated.  When synced to my IPhone the iTunes stuff sounds great.  I'm hoping some of the audiophiles out there could shed some light on why that is.  All the music was downloaded from iTunes, the only difference is the Zumo songs were converted to mp3.  Is there any way to improve the quality of music on the Zumo?

sorry, same over here - and as of now no solution found. Must be the Zumos bluetooth driver as the same difference in quality can be observed with simple phone calls  :nixweiss:
