Screaming Eagle Springer Mods
« on: October 23, 2006, 03:58:47 PM »

The dealers aren't very helpful with matching up appearance parts for the CVO springer....mama won't ride unless I put a sissy bar for her. She says that big surge in second gear is going to break her knuckles....but how do you mount it with out ruining the look of the bike? Also can you get low restriction baffles for the factory pipes?

First, welcome to the site.  HD makes several different height sissy bars-get on their website or have the dealer give you a accessory book.  If you have more than 1 dealer in your area, try to find one a little more knowledgeable.  You will have to go aftermarket on the mufflers as HD does not have loud low restriction mufflers any more.

my Wifw agrees with yours !!
I bought the new one piece sideplate/sissy bar off a new 2007 Softail Custom
It was about $180 total
It bolted right on and looks like it belongs there -- you do have to remove the 3D pieces that fit on top of the fender rails though - no big thing
( I also bought a new Sundowner seat, but that big thing only goes on when she insists ! )
