Gawd I'm an idiot sometimes......
Killing some time in the shop this evening and think "Hey Don, go measure the seating area on that saddle so you know for sure just how large of a heating element you can shop for."
So I do (measure it). Then I'm thinking the leather hasn't been dressed in awhile. So I grab the key (Corbin solo has a keylock) and unlock the seat. Lift it up, start to lift more.... and.. well... the saddle is plugged in to the bike.
It's already a heated saddle. It's already wired in through that last switch in the auxiliary switch bank on the handlebars I wanted to use for it. It's all done. Exactly as I wanted to do it. Because... well... I'd already done it.
I'm an idiot.
But I know what happened.
Way back when the bike was getting finished up there was the first solo saddle. Also a Corbin. Looked good. Totally sucked for a seating position. It wasn't heated. That's how the bike was when I "finished it." Then later scored this seat on eBay and sold the original. My brain just hadn't shifted gears to remembering the new saddle

.
Ok, so no new fall project to have done before winter. Man I'm glad I didn't order an element...
